GAY Relationships - how feasible it is?

I have been into two gay relationships and several short affairs. I started my active gay life when i was 24 and now i am 30. I have my doubts, if gay relationships are feasible.

1. Many gay men, prefer so called straight men who are not at all interested in any relationship, they are only and IF they really are interested in experimenting with gay sex for sometime.

2. Gay relationships are based on personal commitments only, there is no social pressure or compulsion to continue with the relationship. Hence the commitments are shortlived. Even a personal commitment needs the support of society to cultivate a relationship.

3. Gay men are emotionally weak, and need emotional stability. It is difficult for a emotionally weak person himself, to provide emotional support to other gay guy for long.

4. Relationships based only on sex, fade out with time. Any relationship requires a mix of all the flavours of life. Good, bad, stinking.... everything has to be experienced together. What is the fun in just having a relationship, which is not more than being fuck buddies.

5. 90% of indian gays are closet. In this scenario, it is very difficult for them to maintain a relatinship, which requires a lot of time, understanding and patience.

Still 75% of gays would love to be in a steady relationship.

Everybody longs for heaven.. but it is upto us to create a heaven here itself..
